**Komodo Privé is the whole-boat, no-strangers side of the Komodo cluster: we arrange private boat charters for Komodo National Park from Labuan Bajo, sold per boat rather than per person, for your party only. Operated by Komodo Luxury — a Labuan Bajo boat operator founded in 2015 — with bookings handled directly by its reservations team.**
If you have landed here, you probably want the same thing most of our guests want: a boat that belongs to you and your people for the day — or for two days and one night — with an itinerary you help shape and no schedule dictated by fifteen strangers you have never met. That is the single job Komodo Privé exists to do well.
What exactly is Komodo Privé?
Komodo Privé is a booking brand focused on one axis of the Komodo experience: privacy. We arrange private whole-boat hire across Komodo National Park — a UNESCO World Heritage Site — for couples, honeymooners, families, and small groups who want the boat to themselves.
We deliberately do not try to be everything. Fleet-and-vessel-class charter commerce, shared group day tours, harbor logistics, sunset-only cruises, dragon-focused wildlife framing, and Bali private-boat trips are all covered better by other sites in our network. Komodo Privé stays in its lane: your boat, your party, your routing, zero strangers.
The vessels themselves — small and medium speedboats and larger phinisi-style boats — are arranged and operated by Komodo Luxury, a real award-winning operator founded in Labuan Bajo in 2015. Komodo Luxury handles the boats, crew, safety, and on-water experience directly through its reservations team. Komodo Privé is published by Juara Holding Group as the concierge-facing brand that helps you understand your options and route your enquiry to the right people.
Who operates the boats, and who publishes this site?
Two names matter here, and we keep them separate on purpose.
- Operator: Komodo Luxury — the Labuan Bajo boat operator, founded 2015, that owns the operational relationship with the boats and crew. Your reservation, payment, and on-trip contact all sit with the Komodo Luxury reservations team via WhatsApp 628113823875 or sales@komodoluxury.com.
- Publisher: Juara Holding Group — the company that publishes Komodo Privé and stands behind the accuracy of the pricing and park-fee information on this site.
We do not invent ratings, award years, or review counts. Where you see a figure on this page, it is dated and sourced in plain language, and all prices are marked “as of 2026” because park fees and boat rates change without notice.
Who writes the guidance here?
Komodo Privé is edited by Rangga Wijaya, a Labuan Bajo–based travel writer who has spent years booking, riding, and comparing private Komodo charters — from four-person speedboats to overnight phinisi. Rangga knows Komodo National Park itineraries, per-boat versus per-person pricing, Padar–Pink Beach–Manta Point routing, and the practical details that catch first-timers out, like the fact that park entry is cash-only in rupiah. Every price table and fee note on this site passes through his review before it goes live. He is our named editor — not a stand-in, and not the boat operator.
What does a private boat with Komodo Privé actually cost?
Private charters are priced per boat by group-size tier, not per head — so four friends split one price, and the boat carries your party alone. The table below shows verified market reference prices as of 2026. Park, ranger, and sunset fees are always billed separately, per person, in cash.
| Option | Group size (per boat) | Duration | Reference price (as of 2026) | What it covers |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Small speedboat, private day trip | 1–4 people | 1 day | IDR 7,000,000–9,000,000 per boat (Nerawela T&T) | Boat, fuel, crew, meals, water, snorkel gear |
| Medium speedboat, private day trip | 5–10 people | 1 day | IDR 9,000,000–12,000,000 per boat (Nerawela T&T) | Boat, fuel, crew, meals, water, snorkel gear |
| Private speedboat day trip (aggregator) | up to 4 (per group) | 1 day | from about USD 990 per group (Viator) | Boat and crew; park fees excluded |
| Private overnight phinisi | 1–4 people | 3D2N | IDR 56,000,000 (about USD 3,478) (Green Rinjani) | Boat, crew, full-board; park fees excluded |
| Private overnight phinisi | 5–8 people | 3D2N | IDR 59,500,000 (about USD 3,695) (Green Rinjani) | Boat, crew, full-board; park fees excluded |
| Private overnight phinisi | 9–11 people | 3D2N | IDR 68,000,000 (about USD 4,223) (Green Rinjani) | Boat, crew, full-board; park fees excluded |
For context, Click&Boat aggregate data puts the average Komodo boat rental at about USD 1,023 per day (ranging USD 154–2,478), with high season averaging around USD 2,462 per day and low season around USD 230 per day. Motorboat charters there start near USD 700 per day; sailboats run USD 400–3,800 per day, both for up to about 15 guests.
Park fees are separate and paid in cash. SeekSophie’s January 2026 update lists foreigners and KITAS holders paying IDR 250,000 per person for a 1-day trip and IDR 650,000 per person for a 3D2N trip; Indonesian nationals pay IDR 150,000 and IDR 350,000. Green Rinjani’s 3D2N excludes a IDR 650,000 park entrance fee per person plus a tentative IDR 250,000 Kalong Island sunset fee; Viator’s day trip excludes a IDR 500,000 entrance fee per person and IDR 360,000 in ranger fees per booking. Fees vary by island and activity, weekends cost more than weekdays, and no credit cards are accepted — bring enough rupiah.
Where can a private boat take you?
A standard private itinerary from Labuan Bajo threads together Padar Island (the sunrise viewpoint trek), Komodo Island and Rinca Island (the dragons), Pink Beach, Taka Makassar sandbank, Manta Point for snorkeling with manta rays, plus Kanawa, Kelor, and Gili Lawa. Overnight trips often add Kalong Island for the sunset flying-fox flight. Because the boat is yours, the order is yours too — you help set the routing.
High season runs May to September (calm, sunny, busiest and priciest); low season October to April brings more rain and rougher seas but lower prices and thinner crowds.
How does booking work?
- Message the concierge. Send your dates, group size, and whether you want a day trip or an overnight to WhatsApp 628113823875 or sales@komodoluxury.com.
- Get a per-boat quote. The Komodo Luxury reservations team confirms the right boat tier for your party and quotes the all-in boat price, with park fees itemized separately.
- Shape the route. You adjust the itinerary — Padar first, extra time at Manta Point, a Kalong sunset — before you commit.
- Confirm and prepare. Reserve your dates, then bring enough rupiah in cash for the per-person park, ranger, and sunset fees.
- Sail private. Meet your crew in Labuan Bajo and take the whole boat out with your party only.
